Numbers with a dotted underline — and every bar on the charts — open the transactions, time entries or paychecks behind them. Each one can be searched and downloaded as a CSV.

Costs

Where the money goes each month in 2026, compared with revenue. Interest and depreciation aren't included. August is preliminary: a fuel bill and some chemical costs are still coming in.

Monthly costs by type vs. revenue

Costs as a share of revenue

Jan–May compared with Jun–Aug. Labor includes wages, payroll taxes, contract labor, per diem and truck allowances.

Ramp card spending by department, last 4 months

Company card charges recorded in QuickBooks, by the field department each charge is coded to (Admin / Overhead is not shown). The latest synced month is July 2026; August and September charges aren't in QuickBooks yet.

Overtime

Share of paid hours at overtime rates for each pay period, by the division each paycheck is coded to. Mechanics and logistics staff are tracked together as Maintenance / Logistics; office and management staff as Admin. The dashed line is the company average.

DivisionCompanyEach point is one pay period (every two weeks), for the last 13 periods.

Most overtime hours, last 3 pay periods (Jul 19 – Aug 29 work)

At 180+ hours per two weeks, a crew member is averaging 90+ hours a week. That's a fatigue and safety risk, and overtime at this level can cost more than adding a crew member. Salaried staff aren't included.

Billable time

From ClockShark timesheets. Any hour logged to "Cowboy OFS – Internal" counts as unbillable, and hours logged to a customer job count as billable. Supervisor time (manager, administration and FSM jobs) is left out entirely. "Field crews" leaves out Admin and Maintenance / Logistics, whose time is mostly internal by design. Data runs through Sep 17, 2026 — September is a partial month.

Field crew hours by month: billable vs. unbillable

BillableUnbillable

The number above each bar is the share of hours that were billable.

Billable share by division

Each employee is placed in the division their paychecks were coded to that month, with the manual assignments applied.

Look up an employee

Contact details, hours, overtime, billable share, customers, tickets and assigned equipment for anyone on the payroll or in the employee directory.

Most unbillable hours, field crews

Wage cost is hours × the employee's average hourly wage (Jun–Sep paychecks, without per diem or truck allowance).

Where the unbillable hours went

Grouped from the internal job names in ClockShark. "Field crews" is the part of each total logged by field crews.

Maintenance

Repair and maintenance spending from QuickBooks (including Ramp card charges), and maintenance labor from ClockShark, Jan–Aug 2026. August is preliminary.

Parts and outside repairs only. Shop labor is shown separately. Unit Consumables isn't included.

ClockShark hours logged to internal maintenance and repair jobs. Field crew hours are time crews spent maintaining equipment instead of billing.

Units with the most repair hours, Mar–Aug

    Coming later

Equipment availability (days each unit is down), scheduled vs. corrective maintenance, overdue services and DOT inspections, time between breakdowns and repeat repairs. These need a unit list and a simple work order log (unit, dates, scheduled or breakdown, parts, hours, down yes/no), ideally built into the new Lapxo software.

    Fleet & driving

From GeoTab, Sep 1–15, 2026. Data is recorded by truck; driver names come from each truck's label. Weekly updates depend on a GeoTab export.

Long hours + heavy truck use

Employees averaging 140+ paid hours every two weeks (last 3 pay periods) whose trucks also logged 40+ engine hours in Sep 1–15. Long shifts followed by long drives are the biggest fatigue and accident risk. Pay periods and GeoTab dates don't overlap yet; they will with the next payroll export.

    Most driving hours

Drive time is paid time, so heavy driving adds directly to overtime.

    Most idling hours

Idling burns roughly 0.5–0.8 gallons an hour. Some of it is air conditioning or waiting on location.

    Division scorecard

Monthly averages: Jun–Aug 2026 compared with Mar–May 2026. August is preliminary, and chemical costs are still coming in, so Mixing / Chemical's recent result is likely too high.

"Products" are chemicals and filters (Mixing / Chemical) and shaker screens (Sandbuster). "Service result" is what's left after all other costs are charged to the service and rental work. Labor, rentals and fuel are shown as a share of the division's revenue.
